To analyse a flight, GlideNudge processes your account details, model and flying-site settings, uploaded radio logs and an optional GPS track. A log may contain flight time, position, altitude, telemetry and a note about the flight.

Why we need the data

Only for your flight log, dashboard, processing uploaded flights, resolving faults and improving the closed test. You cannot see another pilot’s data in the dashboard and we do not create public maps from it.

Interest in the pilot test

If you leave contact details on the welcome page to join the test, we process only your name or nickname, email address and any optional equipment information. We use them solely to arrange the test and reply from glidenudge@seznam.cz, never for marketing. Unselected contacts are deleted within 90 days; you may request deletion through that email address.

Confirmation at upload

Before uploading a log, you explicitly confirm that you have read these rules and that the log may be processed for the stated purpose. We record the rules version and time of confirmation. A log cannot be analysed without that confirmation.

Data retention

We keep an active account and its logs for the duration of the closed test. If a pilot asks for deletion or an account is closed, we remove that account’s data from active storage within 30 days. Backups may remain for up to a further 35 days and serve only recovery after a technical failure. Aggregated anonymous counts may be retained without a link to a pilot.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction, export or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent for further uploads. Send a request to the test administrator through the same channel through which you received your invitation; a direct administrator email will be published before public launch.

External processing and visit measurement

For weather at a saved flying site, the app may send that site’s coordinates to Open-Meteo. For aggregate measurement of public pages, we retain for up to 90 days a daily one-way fingerprint of IP address and browser; it is not used to determine identity or to track people across websites.

Where the data does not go

We do not sell data or provide it to other pilots. If a new external provider is used for processing, this page will be updated first.
